Description:
The plot of this war drama takes place in the early days of the Allied invasion of Normandy, in early June 1944. Captain Miller’s (Tom Hanks) eight-man squad is given the order to find Private Ryan, whose three brothers have already fallen on the front lines. It is a very dangerous mission. Everyone struggles with the question of whether it is worth risking eight lives to save one. Amid the chaos of war, they all must find their own answer, just as the young Private Ryan does when he refuses to abandon his comrades and stands with them against the overwhelming German forces...
