A car crash on a nighttime highway and a run-in with a gang of thugs who murder his girlfriend and cripple him for life. Grey's prospects in a wheelchair are more than dim until a scientist friend offers him a technological enhancement. With the chip in his spinal cord, Grey is not only able to walk and move his arms again, but he gains other, previously unsuspected capabilities.
