The 1970 film by Jan Procházka and Karel Kachyna was one of those forbidden titles that lay at the bottom of the imaginary vault. Firstly, because the name of the writer Jan Procházka was not allowed to be uttered in public, and secondly, because the film was strangely gaining in relevance as time passed. It was not distributed until after November 1989, and premiered in cinemas in June 1990. It is an intimate psychological drama, with elements of satire, farce, slapstick, crime film and even moments of Hitchcockian flair. Even among the prominent in the 1950s and 1960s, the motto "Trust but verify" was true. Therefore, even in the villas of ministers and other high officials, "ears" were installed - listening devices, which the State Security could use to check these people even in their intimate privacy. The result was insecurity, hopelessness, fear. All of this is experienced to the fullest extent by the ministerial deputy Ludvík and his wife Anna, excellently played by Radoslav Brzobohatý and Jiřina Bohdalová
