Daniel Craig returns as Agent 007 in the 23rd installment of the longest-running film franchise in history. In Skyfall, Bond's loyalty to M (Judi Dench) will be put to the test when her own past begins to haunt her.
007 must uncover and defuse the growing threat no matter how much he has to sacrifice himself. When Bond's latest assignment doesn't go as planned, leading to the betrayal of agents around the world and an attack on MI6 itself, M is forced to relocate her headquarters. After these events, the new chairman of the security committee, Mallory (Ralph Fiennes), questions her authority and her position as director.
MI6 is compromised from without and within and M is left with only one ally she can trust: Bond. It is only with the help of Agent Eve (Naomie Harris) that he sets out on the trail of the mysterious Silva (Javier Bardem), whose deadly ulterior motives are yet to be explained...
