- Description
This impressively mixed story, in which law and revenge are pitted against the friendship of two men, contains not only typical western motifs but also elements of crime and anti-racist tones. Sheriff Matt Morgan's Indian wife, Catherine, was raped and killed by two unknown men on their way to the small town of Pawley.
The fleeing killers, however, left a horse saddle at the scene. The C.B. brand on it clearly shows that it belongs to the ranch run by Morgan's old friend Craig Belden. The two men have not seen each other for many years, and Belden, who once saved Morgan's life, is now the most powerful and wealthy man in Gun Hill.
It is among his people that Sheriff Morgan wants to find the killers of his wife Catherine and bring them to justice. He takes the train to Gun Hill and nothing can stop his strong desire for revenge and justice...
