- Description
Perhaps the world's most famous fairy tale, the story of a poor girl who becomes the prince's chosen one overnight, is now being restored on Disney DVD and Blu-ray in a special edition. The unforgettable, animated version of this fairy tale was completed by Disney in 1950.
In addition to the enchanting animation, audiences have been captivated by the beautiful music that accompanies the film. At the time, Cinderella was nominated for an Academy Award in three categories: Best Song (Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo), Best Soundtrack and Best Sound. In addition, it won a large number of awards around the world (just to illustrate, the Golden Bear Award, the Berlin International Film Festival, 1951, and Cinemonde Et Les Film Francais, 1950, among many others).
