Description:
A dramatic story from the wartime Slovak Republic. In a Franciscan monastery in a small Slovak town, a young Polish war defector, a gifted organist, hides from the fascists. Because of his talents, he comes into conflict with the local regenschori, limited in human and spiritual values. The meeting of talent and beauty with human smallness results in envy and rage, and Felix is thrust from his temporary spiritual hiding place back into the dangers of war.
