Description:
Adelaide Wilson (Lupita Nyong'o) arrives with her husband and two children for a holiday stay at the cottage on the California coast where she spent summers as a child.
A seemingly composed and contented woman, she harbours a great deal of childhood trauma, and as soon as she arrives, a chain of seemingly innocent events triggers intense paranoia and a feeling that the family idyll will soon come to an end.
The premonition turns into reality when four strange men appear in the driveway of the house in the middle of the night and soon attack the family. The terrifying nightmare is all the more horrifying because the attackers look exactly like the Wilsons. Only they're holding guns. And they don't hesitate to use them...
