The well-coordinated police duo Burnett and Lowrey race through the streets of Miami in a black Porsche, brilliantly solving mundane cases. But this time, they face a tough job and drug gang boss Fouchet, who leaves no traces and only recognizes dead witnesses. The daring heroin heist must have been carried out by professionals who had connections within the police force.
The only witness who can help is a frightened call girl named Julie, who finally decides to call her friend Mike Lowrey. But he's not exactly available, so Burnett plays the role of his partner and complicates his marriage a bit, with Mike eagerly filling in for him. Fouchet's killers are hot on Julie's trail, but this new three-man team unleashes a battle in which the law and a black Porsche ultimately prevail...
