Forced to confront revelations about her past, her mind is flooded with uncontrollable flashes of the future, which she soon realizes are the key to saving lives. When she forges a relationship with three young women, she discovers they are all bound by a mysterious history and destined for powerful futures.
However, if these young women want to fulfill their incredible destinies, they must first survive a deadly present. They are being hunted by Ezekiel Sims, a dangerous and powerful adversary with powers similar to Cassandra's, who is obsessed with changing the future by eliminating the girls. Cassandra must learn to master her newfound gift, team up with her new protégées, and race against time to outsmart a killer who seemingly knows their every next move.
