The Big Noise (1944)
Eccentric inventor Alva P. Hartley has developed a new explosive. Before he can register the invention with the patent office, he needs protection from competitors, so he hires a prestigious detective agency. Soon, however, the doorbell rings and the bumbling duo Stan and Ollie arrive. They only work as cleaners at the agency, but Hartley’s assignment is a big opportunity they cannot miss. Naturally, they cause a series of misunderstandings and tangled situations in Hartley’s mansion. As usual, instead of explosive blasts, audiences are treated to explosions of laughter...

Jitterbugs (1943)
Stanley and Oliver travel from fair to fair, earning a living by making music. They form an unusual band with just two members, yet thanks to their ingenuity they manage to sound like a full orchestra. On the road they encounter a crafty young salesman named Chester, who sells miracle tablets that supposedly turn water into gasoline. The scam is soon exposed, but thanks to Laurel and Hardy, Chester meets a young singer named Susan and falls in love with her. Susan has recently been the victim of much bigger swindlers who robbed her of ten thousand dollars. How can the money be recovered? Laurel and Hardy are experts at that...

Great Guns (1941)
Every army must defend its country. But who will defend the army from Laurel and Hardy? The inseparable pair decide to put on uniforms after their employer, wealthy young man Dan Forrester, is drafted. Stanley worked as his gardener, Oliver as his driver. As soldiers, they set out to protect Dan from all the dangers of military service. Given their track record of mishaps, the army is in for some truly hot moments...

The Dancing Masters (1943)
Stan and Ollie appear this time as instructors at a ballet school. Their teaching methods are rather unconventional, but even more unusual is the way they attempt to help young inventor Grant. It’s not so much his invention that concerns them – their friend has fallen in love with Trudy, a girl from a well-to-do family, and Stan and Ollie decide to help him win her father’s approval. Their escapades lead to a series of disasters, leaving both of them penniless. Oliver devises a backup plan: all that’s needed is for Stan to get injured and they can collect the insurance money. But those who dig a pit for others often fall into it themselves – and, as expected, Ollie becomes the victim of every trap...

The Bullfighters (1945)
Stan and Ollie work as private detectives. Their latest case takes them to Mexico. Although they manage to track down a missing swindler, they soon find themselves hiding from an enraged manager whom they once mistakenly sent to prison. In desperation, Stan begins posing as the Spanish bullfighter Don Sebastian. The real star of the bullring, who looks exactly like Stan, is scheduled to face the fiercest bulls. Unfortunately, the real Don Sebastian is delayed somewhere – and the fights are about to begin...

A-Haunting We Will Go (1942)
Laurel and Hardy need to disappear from town ahead of the police, so they answer a job advertisement. Their task is to transport a coffin containing a deceased man by train. Unbeknownst to them, the body in the coffin is not dead at all. The duo has been hired by a gang of swindlers plotting to obtain a large inheritance. To make matters worse, railway workers accidentally switch Laurel and Hardy’s “luggage” with a coffin used by the famous magician Dante for his performances. The two bunglers ultimately become Dante’s assistants, turning magical props into dangerous tools in their hands. And the cheated criminals are hot on their trail...
