Blood Diamond - Blu-ray

A former mercenary, now a diamond smuggler, and a simple fisherman find themselves in the middle of a civil war in Sierra Leone in 1999. The two men join forces in a desperate mission: to recover a rare pink diamond of incalculable value and rescue the fisherman's son, who has been taken away by rebels and taught to kill.
Scenes of cruel torture and bloodshed are interspersed with glimpses of beautiful scenery and war-ravaged landscapes. Directed by Edward Zwick (The Last Samurai), this urgent and moving adventure shapes thrilling human fates and breathtaking action into a modern epic with a profound message.
