In 1980, U.S. hockey team coach Herb Brooks (Kurt Russell) took on a legendary team from the Soviet Union in the Olympics. Despite great odds, Team USA carried the pride of a nation that longed for a distraction from world events. The team, watched by the world, was able to rise to the occasion, leading to the now famous question from host Al Michaels to millions of viewers at home: Do you believe in miracles? Yes!
