Description:
With a desire to pay tribute to the illustrated fantasy magazine Heavy Metal, producer Ivan Reitman enlisted the help of some of Hollywood’s top animation masters to create an otherworldly sci-fi tale. Richly drawn, with a hard-hitting soundtrack featuring Black Sabbath, Blue Öyster Cult, Devo, Sammy Hagar, Stevie Nicks, and many more. Heavy Metal, full of imagination and stunning special effects, set the bar for modern alternative animation. An intoxicating experience not to be missed!
