Franz - Blu-ray

A powerful story inspired by the life, work, and imagination of writer Franz Kafka, a man who managed to be astonishingly ahead of his time. A vegetarian, a workaholic, an introvert, an outsider, a lover of letters, and a clerk trapped in a nightmare. Franz is filled with fantasy, humor, pain, and the inner world of a man who, through his writing, defined modern existential anxiety and who, even a hundred years after his death, remains a mirror of our deepest fears and desires. Director Agnieszka Holland assembles a kaleidoscope of events from fragments, dreams, letters, and preserved stories. The result is a sensually intense portrait of a man who never stopped searching for himself – and in doing so touched something fundamental within all of us…
