With only an ancient sword and a wise guide, Eragon and Saphira must overcome dangerous situations and resist dark forces in a kingdom ruled by a king whose evil knows no bounds. Can Eragon fulfill his destiny and take on the burden of the legendary Dragon Riders? The fate of the kingdom may lie in his hands... The novel Eragon became a sensation on the book market and in 2003 it sold over a million copies in just 6 months.
