- Description
We knew he'd be back one day. So we used all of Earth's capabilities and resources to defend ourselves. We studied the captured alien technology, the alien plans and the alien mindset. We learned from our previous struggle for survival and the path to victory.
But will it be enough? Are we ready for what is now approaching our Earth from deep space? Or will our ingenuity and wit save us from extinction? How is it even possible to face a spaceship that needs the entire Atlantic Ocean to park itself?
Twenty years ago, Roland Emmerich's Independence Day redefined the genre of the disaster film, bringing a new type of global catastrophe and a threat to all of humanity. Now he returns to finish what he started. Mankind's battle with a brutal, ruthless and technologically superior alien enemy will be either victorious or the last, for in the event of defeat, no man will survive...
