After returning from prison, Jake Blues and his brother Elwood visit the house where they were once raised by nuns. Here they face a clear decision: they have only eleven days to raise $5,000 for the church. So Jake and Brother Elwood decide to revive their former blues band. This sets off a merry-go-round of crazy events and chases with the cops hot on their heels.
