- Description
Barry Seal (Tom Cruise) works as a transport plane pilot and the routine of American domestic flights is wearing him down. That's why he enthusiastically jumps at the offer of a "random passerby" who turns out to be a CIA agent (Domhnall Gleeson) to pilot under the cover of the Secret Service.
Barry is treated to sexy flyovers over the bases of Colombian narco-barons, from which he captures the rich photo documentation needed to fight the drug cartels. But why fly around empty-handed when you can team up with the other side and bring drugs to America as well as photos for the CIA? And why not also become an informant for the DEA, which also has its own specific interests in the area? And why not also become involved in one of the largest covert operations ever sanctioned by the US government? Barry just plays it all the way around, and he's more than good at it. He stopped being bored a long time ago. He's got a beautiful wife, he's drowning in money, and he has no idea what's going to happen when this house of cards collapses. And one day he will...
