Description:

In this new, digitally edited form, which also includes over 20 minutes of originally cut scenes, the famous Amadeus, a gem of world cinema, is released again, presenting a wonderful spectacle about the time and especially the phenomenon that was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
The film won 8 Academy Awards® in 1984 including Best Picture (produced by Saul Zaentz) Best Actor (F. Murray Abraham) Best Director (Milos Forman) and Best Screenplay (Peter Shaffer - based on his play). In Vienna in 1781, court composer Antonio Salieri (Abraham) is possessed by an immense envy that grows to madness after he realizes that his divine musical talent is forever denied him; the uncouth and insolent Mozart (Tom Hulce) was given a similar gift. Salieri is determined to destroy his rival by any means necessary.
Here, filmmaking skill and impeccable music are combined in a mesmerizing work...
